Why, Strengths, & Clear Vision
A new month and more craziness. This year has certainly taught us resilience and flexibility. It’s also an opportunity to practice my energetic hygiene, mindfulness and embrace differences.

Differences can be a beautiful thing allowing for a full spectrum of expression and sometimes they can also be hard to manage.

A perception shift I find helpful is to look at differences as contrast helps to fine-tune what I want and what I don’t. I hope you are well, safe and taking good care.

Fridays are my writing day. This Friday was my birthday, so I gave myself the gift of time and chose not to write a full blog post.

Instead, I’m sharing a couple of resources that I find helpful. I hope you enjoy them too. I’ll connect with you next week.

Simon Sinek’s talk about aligning with your why is a powerful one. It’s an older talk that always inspires me.

The character strengths assessment from Via Me is a comprehensive assessment (the free version is excellent though there is a paid one with more detail) of primary character strengths and how to best use them. My top 5 are Hope, Appreciation of Beauty, Leadership, Creativity and Honesty.

I would love to hear what yours are, reply to this email to share.

Dan Blank has a clarity exercise that is similar to one I use with clients you can check it out here:

Have a great week and take a few moments to daydream and connect with what your true desires are. It can be just what you need to light the way forward.

Be Well,
Cathy
